Friday 10th December - Update
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Congratulations to the children and staff for three incredible productions!
Although this has been a busy week (9 shows!), it has been a joyous and happy week, with fantastic performances from all the children. I have been so proud to see all our children singing, acting, dancing and moving on the stage, they were brilliant, and showed us all what hard work can achieve.
It has been great that we have been able to do face to face productions, and I know that you all really appreciated being able to come into school to see the children perform. And that is thanks, in part, to the majority of you, for adhering to the Covid regulations, and supporting the school in helping keep everyone safe.
A special message must go to all the staff, who put in a lot of time and effort, putting the performances together. Thanks to them we were able to experience the joy of the Nursery Rhyme Nativity, the happy ending of Gnome Alone and join in with the beautiful singing of the Carol Concert. Thank you.
Next week is another busy week (see below for the details) but I am sure that the children are going to have a fantastic final week of term.
Thanks to all of you who spent your 50p’s and £1’s at the Christmas Stalls, we raised £ 534! Incredible! Superb! The money will go to buying more toys and equipment for lunchtimes. Thanks to the PTA for their hard work and organisation. Brilliant. Prize Winners are announced below.

On Monday (13th December) the children will be treated to a Christmas Disco.

Get your singing voices ready!
Thursday morning - Visit to the Church
On Thursday morning, children from Reception to Year 6 will be walking to St Marks Church to take part in a Christmas Service.
Unfortunately, parents are not invited to this event, due to Covid regulations, but we will take some photos for next week’s blog.
As we are going to church, I would appreciate it if the children were in school uniform. No PE Kit is needed on Thursday.
Thursday afternoon - Christmas Parties
On Thursday afternoon the children will be having their Christmas Class Parties.
They do not need to bring in any food, as they will be supplied with refreshments.
The children can bring in party clothes to get changed into if they wish to.
Thanks to the PTA for supplying the refreshments.
Friday - Christmas Jumpers
Children are welcome to wear their Christmas Jumpers to school on the last day of term, Friday 17th December.
There is no cost for this.
Friday - End of Term
A gentle reminder that we break up for Christmas on Friday 17th December at 1pm.
The Spring Term starts on Tuesday 4th January 2022.
Covid Regulations
You would have heard on the news, from the Prime Minister, that England is moving to Plan B. This means we will continue to be vigilant with mask wearing, sanitising and cleaning in school. We currently have no cases!
We will review the situation regularly and if we need to introduce further measures in school, I will keep you up to date via the blog and texts. We would appreciate it, if parents could wear masks when on school grounds and where possible keep socially distanced. Thank you.
Can I remind you all, that rules in school, are often stricter than in the wider community, and follow Department of Education guidelines.
Those, who do not adhere to the rules, will not be permitted into school. We appreciate your support in this matter.
