Ophelia really enjoyed the PSHE lesson last week and used money out of her money box to count different amounts of money. She created this amazing monster money box to help keep her money safe.

Here are some pictures of the amazing work that the children in school have completed this week in their Art lesson, working on using a range of different lines to draw different London landmarks.

Ruby has been working hard this week. She has been practicing to tell the time, finding definitions for key words as well as using the -est suffix to create superlative adjectives. Well done Ruby. I love your artwork that you have sent me, you have really paid attention to the details you have added into your picture.

Wyllow has been working really hard today on her maths work. She has been looking at how to calculate the duration of time in hours and minutes. She has alos been looking at the place value of 2-digit numbers. Keep up the hard work Wyllow.

Ophelia worked incredibly hard last week. Here are some picture of her lovely work. She has created her own non-chronological report about firefighters and has used conjunctions in her writing to improve her sentences. She has been continuing to practice telling the time and has also completed the art and RE activities that were set. Hayden has been working very hard this week. He has been using pictorial representations to help him solve additions and has been working hard on adding the -er suffix in his phonics work. Hayden has also been working really hard on his handwriting and has been using his finger space to help him with this. Keep working hard Hayden!

Wyllow has been working really hard at home. She has been partitioning 2-digit numbers in different ways - I love your representations Wyllow. She has also been writing about firefighters using good adjectives to help her. I also really like that she has used conjunctions such as because and so. Keep up the hard work Wyllow!

Emelie has worked really hard today to create a fact file about Samuel Pepys. Well done Emelie!

Ruby loved learning about Claude Monet so much that she has spent some time researching another artist, Frida Kahlo. She has looked at her life as well as having a go at using different techniques to recreate some of her work. Ruby has also created a fact file about the significant person we are looking at in history, Samuel Pepys. Keep up the brilliant work Ruby!

The Year 2 children in school have used Draw with Rob to draw a cartoon picture of themselves and then have written positive things around the outside.
