Reception home learning Tuesday 2nd March 2021
Welcome to Tuesday’s home learning! If you are still with me doing this home learning you are amazing! I am so proud of you and all the hard work you are doing and when you come back to school it will all be worth it.

Phonics:
Sing the alphabet song to help you remember the names of the letters.
Play tricky word trucks on phonics play select phase 3 words.
Practise writing tricky words using the look, cover, write, check method. Focus on you, they, her and my
Having practised the tricky words above, randomly say one of the words, can the child write it down correctly?
Choose one or two of the tricky words to write in a sentence.
Literacy:
Write words to describe the farm animals. E.g For the pig you might write pink, curly tail, snout, fat. You could also do the same for the ladybird. PIg, ladybird, cow, dog, duck.
Maths:
Tuesday’s maths lesson with Oak National Academy on number to 15 .
Use the ladybirds with different numbers of spots from yesterday to make some addition questions. You can write your work down on something like this.
Topic:
Make a paper plate ladybird.
Following on from Yesterday’s literacy work, (Reading instructions to go around the farm in the story) design your own farm. You can draw it out or stick pictures onto your paper to create it. You could even make a 3D model. Can you plan a route around you farm with instructions to follow?

Physical Development:
Complete this ladybird dot to dot or draw your own version.
Make your own ladybird bean bag. Then draw a target on the ground and practise throwing it onto the target. (Or use a hoop or bucket to throw it into).
Practise throwing and catching your beanbag ladybird.
ICT:
PLay number games on Bud’s number garden.
