Year 2 Home Learning - WB 11.05.2020
Hello Year 2!
I can’t believe that another week has passed by again!
There has been lots of lovely Year 2 work on the learning show case on the website this week and it has made me so happy and excited!
Isaac I love the photo of you and your brothers on your bike ride as well as your painting by numbers bunting for VE day, it looks great! Reuben, I am so impressed with your Spitfire and Tank for VE day! The Spitfire looks so life like and you have been really careful with the colours you have used, well done! James, I love reading your story about how the duck got his hat. It really did make me smile. Seren-Grace and Amelia I am so impressed with your cartoon self-portraits you have completed for your art work this week, they are great! Cian, it looks like you have been working so hard on your math, keep up the good work! Lily, your unicorn dessert looks delicious and I loved hearing about it when I spoke to you on the phone!
Keep up the hard work year 2 and please keep sending in your pictures for the website, it really does make my day to see what you have been up to.
I would also like to say thank you for Dotty for the card you made for me, it is beautiful and really made me smile, Thank You.
This week for your home learning I have put on a range of activities again. I have also included some boredom busters and 40 acts of kindness. Over the next week I would like you to see how many of the 40 acts of kindness you can do each day and make a note of how many you have achieved! Can you complete all 40 by next Friday?
Please remember that you do not need to complete everything, but it would be great for you to have a go at some of the activities below. You also do not need to print anything, all of the activities can be done from a screen onto a separate piece of paper.
Have fun this week and continue to work hard!
I look forward to talking to more of you on the phone over the next week and looking at all of your pictures on the Learning Showcase. It would be lovely to see some pictures from any VE day celebrations too.
Stay safe and look after each other.
Miss Hughes
