Year 6: Angles and measure
Good morning all. I hope that the packs are working for you and that you have enough to be getting on with. For those who would like a diet other than tests, I wanted to post now (before the Friday deadline, I know) to give you a focused alternative if needed.
I have uploaded the White Rose Maths planning for the unit of work titled ‘Properties of Shape.’ This unit focusses on angle and the use of a protractor. I know that many of you will not have a spare protractor lying about (I don’t!) and so I will try to put an interactive program - or link to one - for you.
Parents and carers, please read the White Rose planning document as it gives good questions to ask and clearly sets out what children are required to know. I will put a link to ‘Maths Dictionary for Kids’ which is a great website for you to use if there is any vocabulary you would like to look up.
Finally, other than saying keep well, please note that this unit of maths is designed to be used over two weeks. Please take care of yourselves and each other.
