Covid
It’s been a while since I have mentioned Covid, but it is doing the rounds again.
If your child has a temperature, they should not attend school.
If your child has a cough, and they are well enough, they are able to attend school.
The isolation period for a child is now 3 days.
Please could you let school know if you suspect that your child has Covid, so suitable precautions can be put in place.
Many thanks for your support in this matter.
School Closes for the Summer Holiday on Wednesday 20th July at 1pm.
Stay well, stay safe. And let’s all stay kind

Sports Day by Peter Cullen
So the school bags are gone.
Summers sweet songs,
sweeps through the village,
the Sports Day is on.
The egg and the spoon,
the three legged race,
Mrs McGinty ends up on her face.
The children delight
a comical sight,
her legs in the air
those old tartan tights.
Those days,
that simplicity,
the little things, that stay with me.
Those clear skies,
I remember still,
the easiness
and sweet free will.
