Year 6 English Home Learning - 25/01/21 - 29/01/21
Hello to my fantastic Year 6’s! I hope you are all keeping safe. It has been lovely speaking to some of you on the phone over the past week. I am so proud of all the hard work you have been getting up to at home! It is fantastic to hear that you have been completing activities from the website, watching the videos to support your learning and listening to some of the Percy Jackson readings. Myself and Miss Gallagher will be uploading a new chapter of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief each week. These can be found on at the bottom of the English blog’s posted weekly or on our Reading and Storytime page.
Thank you to all those children who have sent me some photos of the brilliant learning they have been doing at home. Henley, I was really impressed with all the work you have been completing, I can see that you have been working really hard. I was really impressed with your views on what the world would be like if we didn’t have any rules both at home and in school. Kaden, I was really impressed with all the learning you have been getting up to at home, my favourite was your robot using different shapes, I thought it was fantastic! It was really creative and a great way to learn about different shapes. Calleigh, your History project on the Black Plague was brilliant, I really enjoyed reading all the facts you included and I have learnt some new things myself! Lilly, I can see you have been completing some of the Maths and English activities which is brilliant. Erin, I was really impressed with your English, RE and Art work, keep up the great work. I have been updating our Year 6 Learning Gallery with the amazing photos you have been sending me, so make sure to have a look! Remember, you should be sending me some photos of any activities you have completed at home at least once a week so I can give you some feedback and showcase your learning! Instructions on how to send me photos of your work can be found on the Year 6 class page.
Below are your English remote learning activities for this week. If you have any questions about any of the activities or want to share what you have done with me, my email address can be found on the Year 6 Class Page.
