Year 6 - Easter SATS revision
Hi Year 6,
I hope you are enjoying your Easter break and having lots of fun! Although it is the Easter holidays, it is important that you are completing some work at home to support your learning. Below are some activities to support you in preparation for your SATS. Please bring in any work you complete over the half term as myself, Mrs Claxton and Mrs Ohene would love to see what you have done!
Here are some websites to support you with your learning:

Reasoning
Below are a mixture of different reasoning questions based on a range of topics. It is important that we are practising a range of questions as all topic areas are likely to come up. Remember to use our four step process we have learnt and remember if it is more than one mark you need to do more than one calculation or tick more than one box!
Reading
Below are two texts from a previous SATS paper and their questions. You have the SATS text in your pack so that you can highlight the key information. Remember to read through the text twice before answering the questions. You should take around 20 minutes to read a text and answer the questions so it would be good practice to set a timer whilst you practice.

Arithmetic
Below are two arithmetic tests for you to have a go at completing. It should take you between 25 and 30 minutes to complete each text. Remember to practice your working out, take your time, look at the operation carefully and move on if your unsure (but always try to come back if you have time).
Fractions
Below are some activities linked to fractions. There are adding and subtracting mixed numbers and multiplying fractions by integers. Remember if your answer when multiplying a fraction by an integer can be converted to a whole number you need to convert it.

Spelling
Below are some spelling activities for you to complete. Remember a root word is a basic word with no prefix or suffix added to it. You also have an activity linked to plurals, remember a plural is when there is more than one of something. You also have activities which look at the ph spelling pattern making the f sound and an activity where you need to add either sure or ture.
