Hello everyone!

It was fantastic to see so many of you on zoom last week. Wasn’t it great being altogether and having some fun! I loved hearing your half term news and our treasure hunt game was lots of fun and I have realised how competitive you all are! Next week’s zoom call is on Thursday at 2pm when we will all celebrating World Book Day together! I’m looking forward to finding out which stories you have all chosen to share!

During today’s lesson, we will be practising the Greek sequence we learnt last week and then we will be creating our own 8 count dance sequence.

Big Question: Can I create my own Greek dance sequence?

To warm up ready for today’s PE lesson, I would like you to complete the Just Dance activity below. Once you have completed the Just Dance activity, can you practice the two different 8 count Greek sequences we learnt last week. Below I have put the video from last week’s Topic blog so you can re-watch this if you have forgotten the two 8 count sequences we learnt last week. Once you have practiced the dance sequences from last week, I would like you to create your own 8 count Greek dance sequence. Your dance sequence needs to focus on the movement of the following body parts: legs and feet. Once you have created your sequence, can you practise performing it to the Greek music below?

This video is to support the children with their PE lesson on Greek dancing on Wednesday 24th February 2021.
